Meet AutoShelf

AutoShelf watches selected Mac folders and organizes incoming files according to rules. Conditions can use file type, name, age, size, source website, download application, document text, or photo metadata. Matching files can be moved, copied, renamed, tagged, archived, optimized, or sent to the Trash, depending on the action the user chooses.

A dry-run preview shows which files match and what will happen before a rule is enabled. Built-in templates provide starting points for common Downloads and Desktop cleanup tasks, while drop zones apply a saved action to files dragged onto them. The menu-bar app offers one free rule and a one-time upgrade for additional rules.
