Open Mac files in the editor selected by your rules

FileRouter is a Mac utility that directs files to different applications according to rules. After it becomes the default handler for selected file types, double-clicking a file sends it to the editor chosen by conditions such as its name, extension, parent folder, or which editors are already running.
Users can set a fallback editor, create custom file-type routes, or display a list or radial picker when they want to choose manually. The picker can also expose actions for copying a path, revealing a file, or running enabled Shortcuts and scripts. A URL scheme supports explicit routing from other tools, making FileRouter useful for workflows that move between several editors.
