Manage coding agents through a desktop messenger interface
Monitor coding agents from a floating desktop workspace

Backgrind is a desktop overlay for working with AI coding agents on macOS and Windows. It brings sessions from tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex into a floating workspace, with a hosted agent option also available. Users can reduce the overlay to glance mode and receive cards when a session needs an approval or answer.
A policy system records scoped command permissions and provides an audit trail for automatic decisions. Fusion Council lets supported agents examine a repository in read-only mode, compare their answers, and produce a combined assessment before work continues. The app is aimed at developers managing several active sessions who want to keep track of progress without continually switching terminal windows.
