Customize a coding agent around your own development workflow
Understand coding-agent spending through local session, model, and project breakdowns.

CodeBurn helps developers understand the cost and usage of AI coding tools by reading session files already stored on their machines. It brings spending from different agents into a shared view, with breakdowns by model, project, session, and activity. Menu-bar, desktop, terminal, and editor interfaces make those figures accessible during work.
The application relates spending to branches and pull requests and highlights patterns such as repeated context reads, retries, and inefficient cache use. Plan-usage indicators show remaining capacity and reset timing. Developers can inspect individual sessions to understand where tokens went and compare activity across periods. The core tools are free and open source, with local processing and no uploaded session data.
