Caldera

Meet Caldera

Caldera adds public profiles and social connections to Obsidian. The plugin reads a vault locally and builds a page from selected activity, journal entries, topics, and shared notes. A Garden folder turns chosen notes into public pages, with growth stages and links between connected gardens.

Friends can share end-to-end encrypted note cards that arrive as ordinary notes and update with later edits. Asks, offers, and help credits support collaboration around useful contributions. Profile sections and publication choices are controlled individually, and previews show what visitors will see. The open-source system also supports self-hosting, making it useful for people who want to share selected knowledge from their existing notes.
