Meet Claude Code

Claude Code is a coding agent for working inside a software project. It reads files, explores the codebase, makes edits, and runs commands to investigate a bug or implement a request. Developers supply direction and context, steer the task, and review the changes.

Terminal, desktop, editor, and other connected interfaces provide ways to start or follow the work. Projects organize related sessions, including work involving several agents. A task can involve tracing a checkout problem, preparing tests, or carrying out a longer migration. The resulting edits and command output remain available for the developer's review as the implementation progresses.
