Meet Pi

Pi is a customizable agent environment for developers who want control over how an AI assistant works. It runs interactively in a terminal, through scripts, over an RPC connection, or as an SDK inside another application. Developers can choose supported model providers and switch models during a session.

Extensions, skills, prompt templates, and themes adapt the tools and interface to a project's workflow. These additions can be packaged and shared through npm or Git. Session history is stored as a tree, allowing users to return to an earlier point and continue along another branch. Pi also provides controls for project instructions, context management, and reusable agent resources.
