Dictantor turns spoken thoughts into recordings and searchable transcripts on Apple devices. Users can start a recording quickly, review its text afterward, and search for a phrase to jump to the corresponding moment in the audio. Live Activities and shortcut support make it useful for capturing ideas while moving between other tasks.

Transcription works on the device without an internet connection, and the app offers local summaries on devices that support Apple Intelligence. Recordings, plain-text transcripts, timestamped text, and summaries can be exported into another workflow.
