Meet Domscribe

Domscribe connects a running frontend with the source files that produce it. A developer can click an interface element and describe a change, giving a coding agent its precise source location alongside live component context. The connection also works in reverse: an agent can query a source location to inspect the corresponding rendered element.

Build tools assign stable identifiers to elements, while framework adapters expose DOM snapshots, props, and state through a local relay and MCP interface. Annotations are saved in the repository, and responses can appear in the browser overlay. The open-source project supports React and Vue workflows with several common bundlers.
