A collaborative code editor built for speed
Coordinate parallel Claude Code work with isolated worktrees, specs, terminals, and diffs.

Anvil IDE is an open-source development environment for running several Claude Code agents in parallel. Projects can be separated into worktrees with scriptable setup, allowing agents to work in isolated copies of a repository. A panel grid makes it possible to arrange several sessions while keeping their progress and requests visible.
The environment includes a terminal, file editor, and diff viewer, alongside specification documents and phase tracking for planned work. Its orchestration tools allow Claude sessions to call other sessions programmatically, and the interface exposes activity from child agents. The macOS app brings these controls together for developers coordinating multiple streams of implementation.
