Meet Earnote

Earnote records audio, transcribes it, and creates structured notes on Mac, iPhone, and iPad. A recording can become a summary with topics, decisions, and tasks, or study material such as flashcards and a PDF sheet. Timestamped playback helps users return to the relevant part of a lecture or conversation while reviewing the notes.

The open-source app uses local transcription and offers vocabulary customization and export options for other note-taking tools. Optional cloud processing and personal iCloud synchronization are available for supported workflows. Earnote suits students and people attending meetings who want to keep recordings and useful written material together.
