Record meetings and turn them into searchable notes and actions
Transcribe meetings on your Mac and keep notes in Markdown

Ulpaso is a Mac app for capturing meeting audio and organizing notes as Markdown files. Transcription runs on the device, and users save documents into folders they choose. The files can be opened in other editors, making the notes usable outside the application without a separate export workflow.
The app keeps recordings, transcripts, settings, and its search index locally and does not require an account or subscription. Users can create a document, capture a conversation, and continue writing or searching their material afterward. Ulpaso is free and open source under the MIT License, with its current Mac release requiring Apple Silicon and macOS 15 or later.
