Turn spoken ideas into structured prompts and everyday writing
Dictate text and transcribe meetings with speech and cleanup models running on your Mac.

Ghost Pepper is an open-source Mac application for voice dictation and meeting transcription. Holding Control records speech, and releasing it transcribes the recording and pastes text into the active field. A local language model can remove filler words and tidy self-corrections before the text is used.
Meeting recording produces a transcript, notes, and an AI-generated summary saved as local Markdown files. Users choose among speech models with different language coverage and resource requirements, alongside several cleanup models. Processing runs on Apple Silicon rather than sending audio to a transcription service. The application requires no account and provides downloadable builds and source code.
