Meet Gladys Assistant

Gladys Assistant is a self-hosted smart-home system that brings connected devices into a shared dashboard. Users can monitor temperatures, cameras, presence, electricity consumption, solar generation, and home batteries. Scenes combine device actions into routines, while voice and messaging controls offer other ways to operate the home.

The software runs through Docker on a suitable Linux machine, including a mini PC, server, or Raspberry Pi. Integrations cover open protocols and popular device services, with community extensions for additional equipment. Core operation is free and keeps smart-home data on the local machine. Optional Gladys Plus services add capabilities such as remote access without making a cloud subscription mandatory.
