Understand website traffic without a complicated analytics setup.
Simple website statistics with open-source hosting options

GoatCounter is an open-source web analytics tool for reviewing a site's traffic through a compact dashboard. It records information such as visited pages, referring sites, campaigns, browsers, locations and screen sizes. Site owners can choose which data to collect, and unique-visit estimates do not rely on cookies or persistent personal identifiers.
You can use the hosted service or run the application yourself. A JavaScript snippet is the usual installation route, with tracking pixels, application middleware and log imports available for other setups. Filters and a text view support inspecting particular paths, and exports let you take the reporting history into another analysis workflow.
