Meet Hoistbay

Hoistbay is an open-source desktop application for managing Amazon S3 storage and CloudFront delivery on macOS and Windows. Developers can upload build folders, download objects, move files between buckets, and clear cached paths without working through the AWS console. Per-bucket header rules apply settings such as Cache-Control automatically during uploads.

The application supports multiple AWS profiles and regions, object metadata inspection, and an activity panel for transfers and cache invalidations. Credentials are stored through the operating system's keychain, and the app communicates directly with AWS. It is useful for teams that regularly publish websites or other assets to S3.
