HyperCaps turns the Caps Lock key into a configurable modifier for Mac shortcuts. Holding it can trigger the Command, Option, Shift, and Control combination, or a smaller combination chosen by the user. A tap can act as Escape or Delete, while other settings retain access to the original Caps Lock function.

Menu bar controls manage the mappings, including keyboard navigation with familiar letter keys and optional Command-key deletion behavior. Users can build shortcuts around the extra modifier without editing configuration files. The native app supports Apple Silicon and Intel Macs, processes key remapping locally, and offers a trial before a one-time license purchase.
