Meet Lightworks

Lightworks brings video cutting, audio, color adjustment, titles, and effects into a timeline-based editor. Projects can combine footage with different frame rates and resolutions, and proxy files provide a lighter version of media to edit. Background rendering and exporting let editors continue working while output is processed.

Custom layouts let users arrange the workspace for different tasks. Free, Create, and Pro editions offer different selections of editing tools and output options, including more advanced color and effects workflows in the broader toolsets. A creator can assemble clips, refine their sound and appearance, and choose an edition suited to the intended delivery.
