Meet Mac Pet

Mac Pet puts an animated pixel companion in the macOS menu bar or beside a MacBook notch. Alongside the pet, it includes a Pomodoro timer with adjustable work and break periods, giving users a small, visible way to follow a focus routine without opening a separate window. Different pets offer their own animations and behaviors.

The app tracks daily activity and streaks, with a five-week history shown as a contribution-style graph. It also follows the Mac's accent color and lets users switch between menu bar and notch modes on supported hardware. Setup involves installing and launching the app, with no account required.
