An open source coding agent with Plan and Act modes
Switch AI models across coding agents from one local gateway

magpie brings model and provider settings for AI coding agents into one place. Developers can connect an API provider, a compatible subscription, or a local model, then choose which model tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and Gemini CLI should use. A local gateway translates supported API formats, while saved profiles make it easier to switch between different working setups.
Routing groups and multiple provider accounts can keep requests moving when a configured account reaches its limits. Usage views show token consumption and costs, and optional privacy masking replaces sensitive values before requests leave the computer. The open-source application offers desktop and terminal interfaces for managing providers, agents, and reusable configuration.
