Catch upstream API changes and propose a fix in GitHub

Okapi watches the external APIs a software project relies on and opens a GitHub pull request when an upstream change calls for an update. A maintainer starts by installing the app on a repository. Okapi identifies the APIs the code uses and follows changes that could affect those calls, including deprecations.
The proposed edit arrives in the repository where the team already works. A developer can inspect the affected files, run their usual checks, and decide whether to merge. This gives teams maintaining integrations a way to respond before a provider removes an endpoint or changes a field they depend on.
