Meet OpenFang

OpenFang is an open-source agent runtime written in Rust. It packages model connections, tools, persistent memory, messaging adapters, and a dashboard into a single application. Prebuilt capability packages called Hands can run scheduled work such as research, lead collection, browser automation, or video clipping.

Developers can configure agents, connect external tools through MCP, and communicate with them through supported messaging platforms. SQLite-backed memory preserves context across sessions, while sandboxing and audit mechanisms help control tool execution. A native desktop application provides another way to manage the system. OpenFang suits developers who want to operate recurring agent workflows on infrastructure they control.
