Meet OpenPilot

OpenPilot is an open-source desktop agent that connects to an OpenAI-compatible model endpoint chosen by the user. After adding a base URL, API key, and model identifier, users open a local workspace and ask the agent to build, fix, or research a project. It can read and edit files, run terminal commands, install dependencies, and stream command output into the conversation.

Live web research helps it consult documentation beyond the workspace. Skills, project instructions, and long-term memory provide reusable context, while MCP connections add tools from other systems. The application includes token-usage views and is available for Windows, with macOS builds described as forthcoming.
