Meet PeonPing

PeonPing adds sound notifications to AI coding workflows so users can hear when an agent finishes a task, encounters a problem, or needs permission. It supports a range of coding tools and uses configurable sound packs, including character voices, to make different events recognizable while attention is elsewhere.

Users install the tool locally, choose packs, and adjust the configuration for their workflow. A registry provides additional packs, and the project documents how to create and share custom ones. MCP support also lets an agent select sounds directly, providing an audible signal alongside terminal or editor activity.
