Reduce agent context size and inspect model usage costs
Understand how your team uses AI coding agents

Pheebs is an open-source telemetry tool for teams using Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex. It registers hooks in those agents and records session events such as tool use, model changes, failures, and verification steps. The resulting data helps teams examine model spending, repeated repair work, and whether generated changes are followed by tests or other checks.
Events are written to local JSONL logs and can also be sent to a chosen backend, with OpenTelemetry support where the agent provides it. Prompt text and source files are not stored in the event record; optional intent classification has separate processing considerations. Teams retain control over the resulting decisions.
