Record and summarize conversations locally on Mac and Windows
Turn recordings into a searchable Mac archive with source-linked notes

SaidTrace collects recordings from devices such as an iPhone, Apple Watch, or audio recorder into a Mac archive. It transcribes audio locally and keeps recordings, transcripts, and notes together, allowing users to search what was said and return to the original audio. Selected devices and folders can be connected for automatic import after setup.
For summaries and questions, users choose a local model service or an external AI provider. Local options keep processing on the machine, while external providers receive the text needed for the request.
An MCP connection lets other AI tools work with the archive. A free monthly allowance provides a starting point before optional paid access.
