Read and search local email with optional AI assistance on Windows

Skim is a lightweight Windows email client that synchronizes mail over IMAP into a local database. It supports offline reading, fast search, and keyboard-driven actions through a command palette, with queued changes synchronized when connectivity returns. Its interface concentrates on mail rather than including a separate calendar or contact-management suite.
Optional AI features can draft replies, revise wording, summarize unread messages, and answer questions with links to relevant emails. Users supply their own provider key or compatible local model endpoint; without one, Skim remains usable as an email client. Cloud-assisted requests go to the selected provider. The application is MIT licensed and requires Windows 10 or 11 with the WebView2 runtime.
