Meet Styx

Styx is a desktop workspace for managing repositories, AI coding agents, and the credentials they use. Projects can run separate task lanes with their own branches, while developers review code, previews, terminals, and agent activity in one window. A status overview helps identify work that needs human input.

The app adds explicit approval steps around actions such as deployment or access to live data. Credentials stay on the local computer, and grants can be reviewed and audited. Styx is free and open source under Apache-2.0. The Mac app is available, with Windows and Linux versions described as beta, making it a workspace for people coordinating several agents and projects.
