Meet TexTab

TexTab turns reusable AI tasks into keyboard shortcuts on macOS. Users select text in an application and trigger a custom action, with ready-made options for grammar fixes, rewriting, shortening, formalizing, and translation. Each action can have its own shortcut and model configuration.

The app connects directly to supported providers using the user's API keys, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Groq, Perplexity, and OpenRouter. Additional tools include popup chat, web search, prompt improvement, and native utilities such as QR generation and image conversion. TexTab is currently in beta and suits Mac users who want frequently repeated AI operations available inside their existing applications.
