Give an AI assistant controlled access to your own machines

Toad connects supported AI assistants to computers and servers you own. Install its small background service on a machine, give that machine a name, and connect Toad to an MCP-compatible client. Your assistant can then use the enabled tools to run commands, work with files, or inspect the state of a named computer.
Each machine has its own tool controls, and an activity log records calls, including blocked ones. The service connects outward over TLS, avoiding a requirement to expose an incoming port on your network. A free plan covers one machine, while paid access expands the setup. Toad is useful when development work spans a laptop, server, or other remote environment.
