Meet Typeahead

Typeahead is a Mac writing assistant that suggests continuations inside the applications where a user already types. It works across supported email clients, chat tools, note apps, and browsers, displaying proposed words or sentences beside the text. Tab accepts the full suggestion, while the right-arrow key can accept one word at a time.

Users can keep typing to steer a suggestion, choose different writing styles for different applications, and let the app learn recurring phrases. Its inference runs on the Mac, with offline use available after setup, so drafting does not require sending text to a separate chat window. The focus is helping complete the user's own writing as it develops.
