A compact sampler with text-generated sounds and phone-speaker character

2G is a sampler instrument for Windows and macOS inspired by early mobile phones. Musicians can describe a sound for its Neural Synthesis feature to generate, or import their own audio and play it from a keyboard. Editing controls shape the sample’s length, attack, release, brightness, detuning, noise, and formant. The instrument can analyze root pitch and suggest loop regions for sustained notes. A small-speaker simulation adds a narrow, characterful sound, with an option to bypass it. Imported and saved samples remain usable offline; internet access and credits are needed for sound generation. This makes 2G useful both as a sound-design tool and as a playable sampler for existing recordings.
