Adobe Scan uses a phone or tablet camera to capture paper documents and whiteboards as PDFs. Choose a capture mode for a document, receipt, form, or business card, and let boundary detection and perspective correction prepare the image. Processing can reduce shadows or glare, while OCR makes text in the result searchable.

Folders and markup organize the scans, and JPEG copies or sharing links provide other ways to use them. Saved documents can open in Acrobat on supported devices. Adobe Scan handles capture and basic document work, while an Acrobat subscription adds further editing, conversion, combination, and protection options for the files.
