Meet AirBuddy

AirBuddy helps Mac users connect supported AirPods and Beats devices, check battery levels, and control media without repeatedly opening system settings. Its Action HUD shows nearby devices, connection progress, listening modes, playback information, and battery alerts in a compact interface. A dashboard provides another place to inspect pinned and nearby hardware.

Desktop and Lock Screen widgets can display batteries, AirPods controls, and Now Playing information across a chosen layout. Magic Handoff transfers supported Apple mice, keyboards, and trackpads between Macs, while per-device thresholds control charging notifications. The current AirBuddy 3 release supports Intel and Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 14 or later; individual features depend on the connected hardware.
