Meet Juicy

Juicy is a Mac utility for monitoring batteries and customizing charge alerts. Users can choose warning levels, notification sounds, and charging or unplugging events instead of relying only on the system's default notices. A menu bar display provides battery health, cycle count, and temperature information, while widgets show supported devices on the desktop or in Notification Center.

The app also tracks energy use by application, with current readings and historical views that help identify power-hungry software. Charging controls include limits and temporary top-ups where supported. Connected Apple devices and accessories can appear alongside the Mac's battery, with additional health information available for some wired devices. Feature availability depends on the device and connection.
