Annotate

Turn recorded screen walkthroughs into briefs for coding agents

Website

Meet Annotate

Annotate captures screen walkthroughs that can be passed to a coding assistant. Users record a window or multiple displays, draw on the interface, and speak through the changes they want. Pen marks, rectangles, text, and transcribed speech preserve the relationship between an instruction and what was visible at that moment.

Sessions can be opened in supported tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and Codex. Its MCP connection gives the agent access to frames and speech instead of requiring a long written prompt or a complete video upload. Capture files and transcripts are stored locally. Annotate offers downloads for Apple Silicon Macs and Windows, with no account required for recording; subsequent agent processing depends on the assistant being used.
