Meet AnythingLLM

AnythingLLM runs AI conversations and document-based knowledge on a local device. Users can select a model or use a recommendation for the computer, then add documents as material for the assistant's answers. Custom skills and tools extend the tasks an agent can perform.

The desktop app provides local meeting transcription and summaries, dictation, and background jobs. Web search brings in external information when the task requires it. A developer API and tool builder support custom workflows, with desktop versions for Mac, Windows, and Linux. The Android app offers its own on-device capabilities, separate from the desktop feature set.
