Inspect the components, signatures, and security settings inside Mac apps

Apparency is a Mac utility for examining what is inside an application and how macOS evaluates it. Opening an app with Apparency reveals its components, identifiers, versions, supported document types, and registered URLs in one place. Users can inspect extensions and other bundled pieces without searching through the application package manually.
The tool also displays code signatures, entitlements, sandbox settings, notarization details, and Gatekeeper results. Further views expose the executable, linked frameworks, and Info.plist metadata, with selected information available through Quick Look. Apparency is useful for developers and technically curious Mac users investigating an application's structure, compatibility, or security-related configuration.
