Give small children a playful screen while protecting open Mac apps

Baby Desk opens a fullscreen playground on a Mac while intercepting keyboard and mouse input that could otherwise disturb open applications. Keypresses can create letters, stars, and musical notes; the pointer can draw glowing trails; and clicks can pop animated balloons. External displays become part of the play area as well.
A parent can end the session with a dedicated shortcut or corner gesture, with an optional Touch ID or PIN check. Short play timers, dimming, and a volume cap help shape the session. The app explains the protection available with and without Accessibility permission, including hardware actions it cannot intercept. It is designed for brief, supervised play when a child wants to use the keyboard beside a working adult.
