Use a lightweight Gmail interface on slow or unreliable connections

BAREMAIL is a lightweight, open-source Gmail client built for slow and unreliable internet connections. Its browser interface keeps downloads small, while a service worker caches the application after the first visit. Users can read cached messages offline and write outgoing mail that is queued until the connection returns.
The client communicates directly with Google's Gmail API from the browser. It can be self-hosted and installed as a progressive web app without an app-store download. Keyboard shortcuts support moving through messages, composing, replying, and archiving, while light and dark themes provide different reading options. BAREMAIL is intended for situations such as airplane Wi-Fi and rural networks where a heavier email interface is difficult to load.
