Meet CAKIE

CAKIE is a Mac screen recorder designed for explaining a task to an AI assistant. You record your screen while describing what should change, using pointers or drawings to highlight details. The app adds a transcript and selected screenshots so the assistant can connect spoken instructions with the relevant part of the screen. After reviewing the recording, you copy a prepared prompt into your AI tool. It references the transcript, highlights, and saved video; tools that cannot read local files may need the images attached separately. Recording and transcription happen on the Mac, while optional online AI features may send the material they need. CAKIE is available in public beta.
