Meet Screencap

Screencap records computer work and organizes recordings into identifiable tasks for teams to revisit or share. On Mac, local models help locate relevant moments through spoken words and screen content. Recordings can be grouped into onboarding sequences, and MCP connections can attach related records from tools used during the task.

Storage depends on the plan: the free plan uploads recordings to Proteus for commercial use, including AI training, while the paid plan offers private storage on the Mac or in the team's cloud. Selected shared copies receive privacy filtering. The main Mac app requires Apple Silicon and macOS 14 or later; Windows and Ubuntu downloads are offered as previews.
