Build a medieval abbey through a historical idle game

Chorin: Ora et Labora is an idle game about the real Cistercian abbey of Chorin near Berlin. Players guide a community of monks from its early island settlement through construction, later decline, and preservation, using a miniature illustrated world. Fishponds, fields, kilns, and other buildings support the abbey as its story advances. Seasons, weather, and day-and-night changes affect the atmosphere and work, while decisions return in later chapters. Illustrated chronicle pages connect the game to historical sources, and period instruments shape its soundtrack. The game starts in a browser without an account, supports several languages, and can also be installed for offline play.
