Run experiments and manage feature releases
Keep feature flags and experiments as versioned files in your repository

dif.sh stores feature flags, experiments, holdouts, and staged rollouts as Markdown files alongside application code. Each file defines the audience, variants, metrics, and decision context, so changes can be reviewed through the team's normal Git workflow. A generated client handles runtime assignments, while declared attributes receive their values from the application.
The CLI validates configuration, checks exclusion conflicts, builds the client, and archives completed experiments with their conclusions. A context file makes active tests and earlier findings available to coding agents. Teams can forward events to their own analytics system or use the optional Dif Cloud layer for shared reporting. This keeps experiment definitions connected to the code and the learning that informed them.
