Lodestar
Open Mac apps, recall clipboard items and pick colors from the keyboard
Meet Lodestar
Lodestar is a menu bar launcher for macOS. Press Option and Space, type a few letters and open an app with Return. Often-used apps rise in the results. The same field can retrieve a copied link, paste a symbol, find a file or calculate a quick expression without switching to another app.
For design work, the color picker samples a pixel and saves its value for later. Clipboard history stays on the Mac, and individual items can be pinned. The open-source app runs on both Intel and Apple silicon Macs.
