Meet MacDupl

MacDupl creates separate instances of supported Mac applications so people can keep work, personal, and client accounts open together. Each instance has its own login, local data, preferences, and Dock identity. Users choose an installed application, give the new instance a name and color, and launch it alongside the original.

The utility supports Electron apps, Chromium browsers, and Firefox-family applications, with a dashboard for launching, stopping, resetting, recoloring, or deleting instances. It uses the Mac's local storage and keeps application data on the computer. Colored icons make similar windows easier to distinguish when several accounts are part of the same daily workflow.
