Temporarily lock a Mac keyboard from the menu bar, iPhone, or Apple Watch.

PawseKeys temporarily locks a Mac's keyboard to prevent accidental input during cleaning, presentations, or interruptions from children and pets. Users can activate it from the menu bar or with a keyboard shortcut, and set a timer to restore normal input automatically. The app is designed to keep an ongoing task undisturbed while the keyboard is unavailable.
An included remote companion lets a paired iPhone or Apple Watch control the lock over the local network. Pairing uses a short-lived code, and the connection does not require a cloud account. A trial is available before the one-time license purchase.
