Meet Raybeam

Raybeam is a Mac utility for sharing and recording a selected part of the screen. Its capture region can be moved and resized while working, helping presenters focus a call on the material they want to show. Users can draw annotations, point with a laser, take screenshots, or save an MP4 recording without sharing the entire desktop.

The app includes controls for hiding distracting applications and managing the selected area from the menu bar. Raybeam Pro adds Showcase scenes, higher-resolution recording, and longer recording sessions. It supports Intel and Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 14 or later, making it useful for software demonstrations, remote collaboration, tutorials, and presentations that need a controlled view of the screen.
