Meet Signal Recorder SR-7

Signal Recorder SR-7 captures voice notes and transcribes them on an iPhone, iPad, or Mac using Apple’s speech framework. Recordings can be organized into projects, marked as favorites, and found through searches covering titles, summaries, and full transcripts. Playback controls adjust speed and skip through audio.

On supported devices, Apple Intelligence generates a title and short summary. Optional iCloud synchronization carries the library between devices, with a separate choice about syncing audio. The Mac app can also mirror recordings as Markdown files with metadata in a selected folder, making the text available to tools such as Obsidian or local scripts.
