Meet WeftCut

WeftCut is a desktop video editor that lets an AI agent work directly with the timeline through the Model Context Protocol. Connect an agent, describe an edit and watch changes appear in the same project used for manual work. The editing tools cover cuts, transitions, keyframes, effects and captions, while timeline differences help users review or revert an agent's work. Notes called Tacks attach questions and observations to specific moments. Code-based Motifs add reusable motion graphics that can be adjusted through exposed parameters. Local and configured cloud tools can support analysis before editing, keeping the creative decisions visible in the project.
